Joel Adams is an American comic book artist and animation character designer, renowned for his work on popular franchises such as King of the HillThe Incredible Hulk animated series, and Power Rangers. Born in 1966 in New York City, he is the eldest son of legendary comic book artist Neal Adams. Joel graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 1988 and began his career at Continuity Studios, his father’s company, contributing to titles like Ms. Mystic and Bucky O’Hare. In the mid-1990s, Adams transitioned into animation, serving as the character designer for Marvel’s The Incredible Hulk animated series and later for Fox’s Emmy Award-winning King of the Hill. He also worked on NASCAR Racers and Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century

Beyond animation, Adams has been involved in licensing art for various properties, including Harry PotterThe Mask, and multiple Power Rangers series.  He is also the creator of Lilz, a line of big-eyed pin-up characters that have gained popularity online and in merchandise.
