Jorge R. Gutierrez, born in Mexico City and raised in Tijuana, is a Mexican animator, writer, producer, director, and voice actor currently based in LA. He co-created with wife and muse Sandra Equihua the multi-Emmy Award Winning Nickelodeon animated series EL TIGRE: THE ADVENTURES OF MANNY RIVERA and the multi-Emmy Award Winning limited series, MAYA AND THE THREE for Netflix Animation. In features, Gutierrez co-wrote and directed THE BOOK OF LIFE which was produced by Guillermo del Toro for 20th Century. The film stars Diego Luna, Zoe Saldaña, Ice Cube, Ron Perlman, Kate del Castillo and Channing Tatum. Gutierrez is currently developing the SPEEDY GONZALES movie for WB.

Guest Announcement Carlos Alazraqui

Carlos Jaime Alazraqui is an American actor, stand-up comedian, impressionist, producer, and screenwriter, best known for his role as Deputy James Garcia on Reno 911! and for his voice acting roles

Alazraqui has performed several voices for Nickelodeon cartoons, including Rocko on Rocko’s Modern Life, as well as Denzel Crocker and Juandissimo Magnifico on The Fairly OddParents, Winslow T. Oddfellow and Lube on CatDog, and Scooter on SpongeBob SquarePants. He also voiced Spyro in Spyro the Dragon. He was later replaced by Tom Kenny as Spyro in Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, Spyro: Year of the Dragon and Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. In 1997, he voiced Crash Bandicoot in a promotional ad for the game Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. He also voiced the Taco Bell chihuahua in the Taco Bell commercials, Rikochet in the first two seasons of ¡Mucha Lucha! and Mr. Weed (the head of the “Happy Go Lucky” toy factory) on Family Guy.

Guest Announcement Jeff Bennett

Jeff Bennett is an American voice actor who voiced the titular character in the animated series Johnny Bravo, as well as Dexter’s Dad in Dexter’s Laboratory, Peter Puppy in Earthworm Jim, Brooklyn in Gargoyles, Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel in Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Petrie in The Land Before Time franchise and Kowalski in the Penguins of Madagascar series (replacing Chris Miller). In 2012, Bennett was awarded an Annie Award for his role in The Penguins of Madagascar and in 2016, he was awarded an Emmy Award for his role in Transformers: Rescue Bots. He has been listed among the top names in the voice-over field.

Guest Announcement Chuck Patton

Chuck Patton is an Emmy award winning animation producer/director, art director, storyboard artist, and veteran comic book artist.  He is known for his dynamic storytelling, drawing skills, and almost encyclopedic knowledge of cinema between his ears. 

A self-taught comics artist, but with a degree in art, Patton’s influences included José Luis García-López, John Buscema, Gil Kane, Neal Adams, and Dick Giordano. He was enticed into a comics career thanks to Giordano, by then a top executive at DC Conics. Patton entered the comics industry by penciling a brief run of The Creeper back-up stories in The Flash series.  Later he became best known for his work on DCs’ premiere super hero book, Justice League of America, specifically when the team relocated to Patton’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan. His other comic work included issues of Teen Titans, Vigilante, X-Men Classic, The Brave and the Bold, Daredevil, DNA Agents and Blue Beetle.
