Alanna Ubach is an actress and voice actress known for her roles in Legally Blonde, Meet the Fockers, and as the voice of Mama Imelda in Disney’s Coco. She also voiced Frida Suarez in El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera and has appeared in numerous film, television, and animated projects.

Melissa has developed and produced diverse and inclusive entertainment in all genres, including television (Power Rangers, Glitter Force, Julius Junior), feature films (Saban’s Power Rangers), narrative podcasts, digital films (including Power Rangers Legacy Wars: Streetfighter Showdown, Shattered Grid), publishing, live events (Power Rangers HyperForce) and gaming (including Power Rangers: Battle For the Grid and Power Rangers Legacy Wars)In 2020, she wrote and co-created the popular Twitch digital hybrid series The Unleashed, which was also featured as a backup comic series in the superhero Image title Radiant Black. Her Image comic book series The Dead Lucky, a Massive-Verse title, released this year. She co-writes the Massive-Verse comic book miniseries Radiant Pink, and writes Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for Boom! Studios.  

Melissa also voices the characters Kat Ranger and Gia Moran in Power Rangers: Battle For the Grid

Guest Announcement Barbara Kesel

Barbara has been in the comic book industry since she wrote a Batgirl backup story for DC Comics’ Detective Comics while sitting in the tech booth during a college play. Since then she has written scripts for just about every major comic company on titles from Aliens to My Little Pony. The series Hawk & Dove (DC) and Meridian (CrossGen) are special favorites.

Her professional life in comics began at DC Comics, where she worked in editorial on titles including The New Teen Titansthe Flash, the Eisner award-winning Watchmen, and the DC/TSR line of Dungeons & Dragons-inspired comics. She then moved on to Dark Horse Comics, editing comics from Star Wars to Alien, and creator-owned comics from Hellboy to Body Bags. A span of years as a freelance writer/editor followed before she was asked to help start up CrossGen Comics, the first comics company to bring all its creative personnel together under one roof.

Guest Announcement Doug Drexler

Doug Drexler is a winner of both American and British Academy Awards, two Emmys (eight nominations), a Saturn Award, the Visual Effects Society Award, and is a two-time Peabody Award recipient. Born in New York City, he began his career as a protege of legendary makeup artist Dick Smith. Drexler’s makeup career culminated with the iconic and Oscar winning pantheon of characters seen in Warren Beatty’s Dick Tracy, after which he branched out into a variety of Hollywood disciplines. Perhaps most notably, Doug was a creative mainstay on Star Trek for nearly two decades and has served in more capacities on the show than anyone in its 60-year history, including makeup artist, graphic designer, VFX artist, and conceptual designer, designing three Enterprises. His Trek credits include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Generations, First Contact, Enterprise, and Picard. Doug also served as two-time Emmy winning VFX CG supervisor on Battlestar Galactica and as a designer on Seth MacFarlane’s The Orville. Doug has worked with such talents as Warren Beatty, Al Pacino, Mickey Rourke, Meryl Streep, Jon Landau, Michael Douglas, James Caan, Jack Nicholson, Michael Mann, Sir Patrick Stewart, Glenn Close, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Cimino, Mike Nichols, Bette Midler, and Madonna. Known for his diverse skill set, Doug Drexler has been a chameleon in the world of film and television for 43 years. His ability to seamlessly transition between different artistic mediums has earned him a reputation as a versatile and innovative creator.

Rikki Simons is a voice actor, writer, and artist. He is most famous for being the voice of the robot in a dog suit, GIR from Invader ZIM. As a writer he is known for the science fiction and fantasy novel Hitherto a Lion. Original illustrated books and comics that he created with Tavisha-Wolfgarth-Simons include Super Information Hijinks: Reality Check!Ranklechick and His Three Legged Cat, ShutterBox, and now The Trinkkits. He is also a background painter in animation, most noted for his color design onInvader ZIM. The comics and books he creates with Tavisha can be read and purchased at www.tavicat.com. Tavisha Wolfgarth-Simons is a German and Japanese American artist who produces her art and stories under the studio name of Tavicat (and sometimes “WiredPsyche”). During her two decades of publishing manga-influenced comics in the American market, Tavisha’s comics and illustrations have been published by Nickelodeon, Tokyopop, Digital Manga, and SLG Publishing, among many others. Original illustrated books and comics that she created with Rikki Simons include Ranklechick and his Three-Legged Cat, Super Information Hijinks: Reality Check!,ShutterBox, and now The Trinkkits. @Tavicat, a comic about her cats, can be read and purchased at www.tavicat.com.
