GENERAL ADA SERVICE ACCOMMODATION REQUEST:
At Morphicon, we are dedicated to making our conventions accessible to all attendees, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We strive to create an inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of ability, and will do our best to accommodate any accessibility needs. This includes providing wheelchair access, accessible seating, sign language interpreters upon request, and other accommodations as needed. Please reach out if you have any general ADA questions at OfficialPowerMorphicon@gmail.com
If you have specific accessibility needs or requests, please reach out to us in advance so we can ensure the best possible experience for you. Our goal is to make sure every attendee can fully enjoy the event, and we will work with you to provide any necessary support. We look forward to having you join us at Morphicon!
Notice: At advance notice means that you put in your request 30+ days before the convention event arrives. We cannot meet your requests if you request a service a day before the event begins. So please put in requests in the time frame within the announcement of the convention date, or a month before. We appreciate all attendees with disabilities.
SERVICE ANIMALS ACCOMMODATIONS:
At Morphicon, we are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible environment for all attendees, including those who require assistance from service animals. We recognize and respect the importance of service animals in helping individuals with disabilities navigate the convention.
However, we also ask that service animals behave in a manner that ensures the safety and comfort of all guests. If an animal exhibits disruptive behavior—such as excessive barking, aggression, or failure to be under control at all times—Morphicon reserves the right to ask the animal and its handler to leave the event. This policy is in place to ensure a safe and positive experience for all attendees.
Please note that pets or emotional support animals do not qualify as service animals under ADA guidelines. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain an enjoyable environment for everyone at Morphicon.
DEAF VOLUNTEERS SIGN UP:
At Morphicon, we believe in fostering an inclusive environment for all, and we are excited to welcome Deaf volunteers to assist with our convention events. We encourage individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing to apply to volunteer and contribute their skills, energy, and enthusiasm to the success of the event.
As part of our commitment to accessibility, we are happy to provide accommodations to ensure that all volunteers have the support they need to participate fully. If you require any specific accommodations or have any accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
We value the diverse perspectives and talents that Deaf volunteers bring to our community and look forward to having you as part of the Morphicon team!
ASL INTERPRETERS VOLUNTEERING WITH SERVICES RENDERED PAID:
At Morphicon, we recognize the invaluable role that sign language interpreters play in making our events accessible to all attendees, especially those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. We welcome qualified sign language interpreters to volunteer at our convention events and contribute their expertise to creating a more inclusive experience for everyone.
As a token of appreciation for their time and service, Morphicon is proud to reward sign language interpreters for the work they do during the convention. This may include compensation, event passes, or other incentives, depending on the specific details of the volunteering arrangement.
If you’re a sign language interpreter interested in volunteering, please reach out to us in advance so we can coordinate your involvement and ensure that all necessary accommodations are made. We truly value the important role interpreters play in fostering an accessible and welcoming environment at Morphicon and look forward to collaborating with you!
VOLUNTEERING WITH DISABILITIES:
At Morphicon, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all, and that extends to our volunteer opportunities. We warmly welcome individuals with disabilities to apply to volunteer at any of our events. We believe that everyone should have the chance to contribute their talents and passion, regardless of ability.
If you are interested in volunteering and require accommodations or support to ensure a positive experience, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We are happy to work with you to provide the necessary adjustments and make sure you can participate fully in the volunteer experience.
Your involvement is important to us, and we value the diversity and unique perspectives that individuals with disabilities bring to the Morphicon community. We look forward to welcoming you as a volunteer and ensuring that your experience with us is as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible!
REQUESTS FOR ASL INTERPRETERS:
At Morphicon, we are dedicated to ensuring that Deaf and Hard of Hearing attendees have the support they need to fully enjoy the convention. If you require a sign language interpreter for any event, please reach out to our ADA Representative in advance to request an interpreter. Our ADA Rep will assist in coordinating the services you need to ensure you are accompanied by an interpreter throughout the convention.
